Mobility of the future: Hyundai presents its vision of autonomous driving at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Surrounded by a 360-degree screen, visitors travel to the city of the future. The vehicle's cockpit becomes an intelligent multifunctional capsule.

Robotic 3D-Printing for Composite facades

A robotically 3D printed facade designed for the versatility to combine the functionality of Insulation, Structure, Shading, Acoustic barrier, Ventilation and Aesthetic in one system. It was a demonstrator done on a Scale 1:5 with architectural integration as an initial thought. Finally clear PETG material was printed with purpose-built custom slicer for UR5 robot.

Journey to the OSS calls for the development of interactive experiences within the context of a space station visitor center set in the year 2071. It is going to be the intermediate point of approach for Mars' human settlements. To simulate the same Aura, OSS has been encased in this theme.

Kinetic Architecture with 3DP & Shape Memory Alloys

This research develops an experimental program with a series of tests, enabling higher controllability of shape morphing behavior through complex geometric features and investigating possible approaches to the material- and energy-efficient actuation. For material-efficient shape-morphing, a minimum amount of SMA-wire is embedded as a muscle into flexible and motion-optimized 3D print.
